JENINE RYAN

STOTT PILATES® Trained Instructor

Jenine has always had a strong interest in sport, dance and movement, starting Ballet at the age of 4 and then moving into modern dance in her teens, she was also involved in swimming, athletics, netball and hockey throughout her schooling years.

On completing her matric she furthered her studies at WITS, graduating cum laude in a BSc Occupational Therapy with distinction. Her passion for physical rehabilitation has led her to develop a special interest in the treatment of adults with neurological and spinal cord injuries. Through her work she has also been able to live and practice in the UK for a period of time.

However due to the nature of her work she developed significant back pain which was not alleviated by conventional methods of treatment. This led her to find the Pilates method of exercise. The combination of improving her core strengthening, flexibility and general endurance helped to significantly reduce her pain. Her passion for and belief in the Pilates method of exercise continued to grow and thus she decided to further her studies and become a STOTT Pilates instructor.

Clients referred to our studio because they are experiencing pain due to injuries or who have had surgery, benefit from Jenine’s medical background and extensive rehabilitation experience.
